The Silversmith

The Silversmith is an unmistakable women’s silhouette inspired by a Red Wing work style initially built for farm fields and blacksmith workshops. The modern Silversmith combines quality materials and construction, creating rugged durability and beautiful styling. Premium Red Wing leather is held together with the durable Puritan triple-stitch, and the boot is fully resoleable thanks to a three-quarter Goodyear leather welt. The Vibram® 430 Mini-Lug outsole provides reliable all-season traction, a proven base for the 7-inch boot.

FIT INFORMATION

A new pair of Red Wing Women's Heritage footwear should fit comfortably tight on the foot, with enough room to freely wiggle toes. We recommend trying on footwear in store to ensure proper fit.

Care

Smooth-Finished Leather Care

1. Clean

Use a quick exam every few weeks to determine if the leather needs maintenance. Use warm water, Foam Leather Cleaner, and a soft bristle brush to remove stuck-on dirt. Then use a clean, dry cloth to wipe away any remaining excess dirt.

2. Condition

Apply Leather Cream or Neutral Boot Cream to any smooth-finished leather to hydrate the leather without darkening and bolster water resistance. Black, Brown, or Burgundy Boot Creams can be used to cover scuffs on corresponding leather color.

3. Protect

Add extra protection to preserve your footwear. Lightly mist footwear with Leather Protector six to eight inches away from the leather in a sweeping motion. Leather Protector provides an invisible shield against moisture, dirt, oil and mud. It will not darken footwear.
