Description

The Maurten Bicarb System is a sodium bicarbonate supplement to maintain peak performance during high-intensity runs. It combines bicarbonate mini tablets with Maurten's Hydrogel Technology, which helps the bicarbonate pass through the stomach before it breaks down in the intestine. This can make high doses easier to handle than traditional bicarbonate drinks.

Once absorbed, sodium bicarbonate helps buffer the acid produced by your muscles during high-intensity exercise, which may help you maintain a hard effort for longer. The system includes a mixing bowl, hydrogel, bicarbonate tablets, and access to the Bicarb Digital System to help you prepare your dose. Different dosage options let you choose the amount that fits your training or race.

See product details for the recommended BC system for your body weight. If you are new to bicarb, Maurten recommends choosing the system one step below your weight range. If you are very experienced with bicarb, with a high tolerance, you may choose to go up one system above your body weight range.
