I'm an avid hiker. These boots are great for narrowish feet like mine, are light as a feather, my feet feel great after a long hike , they have good grip and waterproofing, and these do not have the clunky soles like other hiking boots. And they look good too!
Are they perfect? No. They eventually develop holes at the crease that forms around the toebox when you walk. At first I thought there was something wrong with the boot and got a full refund. Then I tried different, more expensive hiking boots such as ASOLO and those other boots fit poorly/too wide, didn't stay tied (nothing worse than untying double-tied boots after a grueling hike!), looked and felt clunky, and had issues separating from the footbed. I also hated that the clunky soles on other boots held giant clods of dirt (and tore up trials).
It is saying something that in spite of this flaw, I absolutely love these boots and give them five stars and have returned to them again and again. Sadly, I believe they are no longer being manufactured so go get yourself a backup pair like I have!
