I really love these shoes. I've burned through many pairs of NB 880s over the years and I have been extremely pleased with these. I had owned one pair of 880GTX (Gore-Tex) shoes before and they didn't fit true to size. I always just assumed it was due to the fact that the extra layer(s) of material (Gore-Tex shoes are warmer, waterproof) made the shoe smaller and I never really wore them all that much. That was 3-4 years ago. These newer ones were such a good deal that I couldn't pass them up. They fit perfect. They are a tad heavier than the standard 880s, but with the cold weather coming on, it is worth it to have a thicker shoe. I haven't put serious miles on them yet, but I figure they will hold up just as good as most of the 880s I've had in the past and these are snug, secure and very comfortable.
