The Vidda Pro seems to be a solid pant. I just bought my second pair. Material is tough (extra tough on knees and tuchus) but comfortable. Adding Greenland wax does make them wind/rain resistant, and it's a simple application process, although once they get a good soaking you'll have to re-apply the wax.
Craftsmanship seems very good. Stitching is neat and has held up well, as have buttons, loops, etc.
Ergonomically they're great: even though they're not stretchy, I never feel restricted when bouldering/hiking/working (surveying in the Pacific NW in rough country) in them.
Also, pockets galore w/ good snaps.
